  I’m not gonna lie – I edited this speech. There it is. That’s the truth. I edited it because I called myself an “old lady” more than once in this talk. More than twice. That’s not going to fly!   You know what I love about Christy Pratt? She is a true example of a forward thinking entrepreneur. And she is an inspiration to all of us who may think that because we are in a professional with fairly defined roles that there's no room to grow.  Christy shows us there is so much room for someone with a growth mindset. Today I am joined by Christy Pratt who is a visionary business leader and realtime court reporter in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has reported several landmark aboriginal trials and constitutional challenges, many of them exceeding 150 trial days. Before becoming a court reporter 25 years ago, Christy was a legal assistant and before that she worked in her family’s restaurant business.
